Weekend Motorbike trip to Meking Delta

Hi,

I am planning a trip this weekend to the mekong delta by motorbike. We are two couples along with a vietnamese girl leaving on Saturday morning and returning on Sunday. The drive should be about 3 hours to cover 90km leisurely.

We plan on stopping in Ben Tre or My Tho to then find a boat tour to travel along the mekong delta either on saturday or sunday. If anyone is interested, just PM me.

have you thought about a tour ? i had 3(yes three )day tour with hotel accom and guide all the way to Chau doc just $50.00 au A N travel agency

I'm planning to make the same trip to Mekong Delta I think on January 30th with an overnight at My Tho. Let me know if you find any nice spot to eat along the way and any helpful advice.

no travel agent just me and my fiance on the back. She's got siblings in My Tho. Spoke to a travel agent in Can Tho. Last year she booked a tour of floating river during Tet and it ended up deserted. Don't think any tourist agent is open for tours during the Tet.
