聽 anyone been to club 39 ADDRESS :聽聽 Kumho Asiana Plaza Basement 39 Le Duan Str. Ben Nghe Ward, d1?聽 I was wondering if it a nice place, drink service, cost? Is it appropriate for older generation (50) ? I'm just trying to find new places to enjoy.聽 Thanks for any advise or comments

Jquinoq, it's an ok club; not my cup of tea but perhaps you will enjoy it more than I did. It's a typical, upscale (by Vietnamese standards) club (like 030 or 02 if you've been to either), extremely loud, and not the best place to go to if you're looking to meet new people. Way too loud (yes every bar/club in Vietnam is loud, but this one is louder; trust me); you'd have to scream at the top of your lungs just to talk to the person next to you. No bar where you can just sit down and take everything in; just a big dance floor with lots of tables and very little room to move. Since you mentioned age, I don't think an older person would enjoy it; its full of teeny boppers. I felt old there and I'm some 2 decades younger than you. Also not a place to go solo or even with someone else; best enjoyed with groups of people.

Prices on par with the more upscale avenues in Saigon.. roughly $6/beer.. Cheapest bottle service starting at $100 (I'll let you decide on whether it's real or not), mixers $4
