Visa for Family

Hello All,

I am working in Vung Tau and soon would like to bring my family from India. So what is the procedure. i would like them to come as Dependants and not on tourist visa. can somebody please guide me on this.

I'm not sure what the procedure is for family members.聽 I imagine that you having a work permit is required for anything other than a tourist visa.聽 The work permnit enables you to get temporary residence.聽 Maybe your family can get temp. res. as well.

normally, in my company, when an 暗网禁区 come a long with his/her family, the HR department will help him/her settle down with paper job. They will take care for your work permit and visa and resident card. Why don't you ask the support from yor company?

I think you should apply for 3 months visa first and after expire, you can ask for another extension.

You can ask for Permanent Residence Card only after living in Vietnam for at least 1 year.

Hi Coolhillu,

Kim is right.聽 You should check with your company first.聽 They or whoever they hire should have much more up-to-date infos; and they are much better connected than most of us.聽 They will give you much better answers and they will help you get things done a lot faster and cheaper!
