Vietnam passport for Canadian Viet Kieu

My wife and I are from Canada.聽 She is a Canadian citizen.聽 Before moving to Vietnam, she applied for her Vietnamese passport at the embassy in Canada.聽 She recently received notice of approval and was told to contact the embassy in Canada when we return to request the passport.聽 My question for the members?聽 Does anyone know if she can get the passport issued to her from Vietnam?聽 If yes, can you please provide the process?

Hey Brett, sorry I don't have an answer to your question but I do have a question about how your wife got her Vietnamese passport. Did she have to provide Vietnamese paperwork like birth certificate or other Vietnamese documents? I want to apply for a Vietnamese passport but I don't have any Vietnamese paperwork and my parents have passed away and I don't have any of their paperwork if they had any. Any info would be great! Thanks
