Teaching English in Can Tho

Hi there,

I am 64 year old semi retired guy and moving to Vietnam. To keep busy, part-time, I want to get a job teaching English. I have a BS (Economics) and a MBA聽 (Information Systmes) and will get my TEFL certificate next month.

I have heard that Can Tho is a region of Vietnam where it tends to be quite easy to get a teaching position? Anyone teaching English there, can verify this?

Easy enough to find work, but the salary is low. Try looking on some teaching forums on Facebook.

it's not that low to teach at Can Tho as a forgeiner. It still depends on the hours you teach. In Saigon, most of new teachers will get around 350-400k vnd for an hour.
