BBQ where to purchase

Fatmans

G’day all just joined this forum as I’m coming over to live in Da Nang in May for a few months and was wondering where I can get hold of a charcoal or gas bbq.
Cheers all. Any suggestions appreciated.

In general, *I believe*, if something can be custom made/fabricated here in Vietnam, it's going to be less expensive than importing something similar.

Not saying you'll get a copy of a Weber Kettle, but it shouldn't take much of a local search to find someone able to create something workable for you.

There are all kinds of direct-heat charcoal grills around town, being used to cook on the sidewalks in front of restaurants.

I've even seen some with multiple electric rotisseries.

The indirect-heat slow smoking of meats is less common, but there are some rigs around.

Much as can be seen in rural America, a 55 gallon barrel conversion is the most common type.

You can try Lazada....

Or, you could buy one online in Saigon and have it shipped up.....

Thank for that I’ll have a look at those links. I won’t survive without a BBQ. Cheers

I'm sure your doctor would rather say, "without BBQ, you'll survive." :)
