TRC and Work Permit

I am married to a Vietnamese lady and we live in Ho Chi Minh City.

I am getting confused about the TRC and work permit.

I have been told that if i get a TRC based on my marriage , I can not get a work permit.

I have been advised to have a buisness visa with a work permit.

Is this all correct guys?

You dont need a work permit if you are legally married. Beware of agents, they will sell you anything.
