YuZ, show the people at the METRo your passport. They should give you a 3 month temp card.

You can also try Maximark on Thai Nguyen street.

last time i got in metro, Cantho, they didnot ask for the card, not sure if its still the requirement anymore.

I get a free day pass with my passport or US drivers license. But yeah didn't know about the 3 month temp pass.

Phi, METRO started it back last Nov. At least here in Can Tho.

looks like so far I tried the worst one - in Nha Trang Center...

I checked out the maximart on thai nguyen st and found it to be pretty crowded and very difficult to walk up and down isles. I also found the prices the same as the supermarket in the nha trang centre so I just go to the nha trang centre now. It is uncrowded and they have a good range of stuff at good prices. Parking is easy in the basement for 2000. Also if you go to the counter there you can ask for a discount card and get 3% off your total bill. I will check out the coop for a comparison.

Metro doesn't require membership anymore, at least not in Bien Hoa.

hi I remember now I've ridden past it before, it is a fair way out of town...might go and have a look one day.

Metro is direction Dien Khanh out, bout 3 km from the entry to the big bhudda, on the right side.
Been there once and in my opinion, it has nothing, but the name with metro in common.

I checked out metro, the place is massive...anything you need is there, tools, generators, tv's, food etc etc.

just wondering if Maximark and Nha Trang Centre supermarkets are open over Tet ?

Citimart at the Nha Trang Centre and Maximart close to the railway station......Metro just want a copy of your passport and they prefer you state you are here on business!
