I thought it was to try to appease everyone and become politically correct. In the US in such places like Little Saigon, people there refer to the city as Sai Gon. But here in Vietnam, it's officially and politically referred as Ho Chi Minh City, but Sai Gon is also accepted. Or just put Hochiminh City (Saigon). *Shrugs*

i agree, its really confusing.. and if its meant to help those who dont know that saigon and ho chi minh city are the same, maybe a single forum titled "Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)" would be better

it should merge to "Saigon-Ho Chi Minh" will be fine, in reality SG and HCM are the same...we should sort it out as leave the redundancy
