I've read in the past that SKYPE was blocked in Belize and have read lately that it was not.聽 Considering moving to San Pedro and will need to use VOIP to conduct business in the US.聽 Most likely SKYPE worldwide calling.聽 Also want to know if internet in San Pedro is quick enough and reliable enough to handle聽 that type of use.

Any help would be appreciated.

I use SKYPE (from Caye Caulker to USA) all the time, with the annual unlimited calls to the USA plan.聽 Internet here is more than sufficient to drive the app from my computer.

We have the MagicJack VoIP app on our smartphones and that does get dropped occasionally during calls.

What's wrong with a sat dish....I'm here in Saskatoon and used one last year on a farm . It transmitted and received in less than a 1/4 sec. the satellite was 265k聽 miles out in Space.
