Good day. Please be aware you will never be exempt from import duties and taxes in Belize.  You can avoid import duties, to some degree, by doing QRP, not by being a permanent resident.

@belizeboy would love to know what sort of quotes you have. We haven’t got anything planned to ship at the moment but if there is a decent price that we can spilt happy to iron out the details. @neomisa unfortunately the response above is correct in that you won’t be exempt from paying customs and duties because your a resident. We found a great customs agent that helped us bring the costs down when we shipped our belongings from the Uk. Beds, car the lot.  But other than that it’s near impossible to avoid paying.
