Paying bills in Honduras

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

What bills do you pay? If you are renting, are bills included in the price of rent, and is this common practice in Honduras?

How can you pay your bills (e.g. online, at provider's store, at the post office)? Which is the most convenient or reliable way?

With what frequency are different bills sent in Honduras? Are there different deadlines for payment?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Priscilla

Most bills are paid through the banks, however I pay my water bill in cash to the local muncipality.

Hello Priscila

In Honduras there are several types of invoices, but specifically rent there is an invoice, which includes taxes to pay.

The best form of payment is via internet, bank transfer and payment through checks.

Invoices are sent with a monthly frequency for payment, once the month of rental has elapsed. In the case of service provision, it is normal to pay 50% at the beginning and the rest (50%) at the end of the service.

If you need more information you can contact me and I can gladly explain it better.
