hi Scubacher,  can you recommend a nursery or kindergarten in Panamà? My baby is only 6 mos, but i've heard you have to apply almost 1-2 year in advance.

Hey schubacher, have you tried gamebox in the multicentro mall? I'm asking because I have twin three year olds and they love it there. There's a huge bounce castle thing in an area just for little kids to run around in. I think its on the third floor of the mall. We take our kids to Parque Omar a lot. If you've never visited that park, it's really great. There must be at least ten different playgrounds all in the center of the park. Also, on weekends there's usually someone selling raspados (or snowcones) and popcicles and stuff. I'm running out the door right now, but I'll try to write again with anything else I can think of.

Also...I've heard, but I've never really had the chance to go check it out, that Summit Park has a small zoo that's very cheap. I don't think there are a lot of animals, but for young children it could be fun. I need to go check that out myself. There's a very small water park in Las Cumbres, but I can't think of the name of it. Again, I haven't visited it myself. My daughter has gone on a field trip. I think it has only two slides or something like that. In Costa Del Este, on the second floor of the shopping center (where Papa Johns is I think) there's that place called Pirhuetas or something like that. I went to a birthday party there and they lady who runs it said that you can bring your kids in to play for a small fee (if they don't have a party going on). So you might want to check that out. There's another one of those party places in costa del este that's really cool. If you pass the circle (turn around) coming from the arrocha/super 99 area, and turn left (I think it's the first street), the street where the elementary school is, and go straight past the school, there's a small strip of stores with a ballet place and a party place. Check there. They might also let the kids play for a fee. Can't think of anything else at the moment. We take our kids to the KFC in Villa Lucre a lot and to some of the McDonalds just to let them play. The problem with those places is that they are usually hosting a birthday party on the weekend. Hope you can make sense of my ramblings. Sorry I was in a rush.
