Hi everyone,

My husband and I are relocating to Puerto Rico in just a few weeks, and we鈥檙e excited to begin this new chapter! We've recently learned that our current health insurance from the mainland U.S. won鈥檛 cover us while we鈥檙e living on the island.

We're currently exploring health insurance options that offer comprehensive coverage in both Puerto Rico and the continental U.S.. We'll be spending about half the time on the island and the other half traveling back and forth to the States, so we鈥檙e looking for something flexible. We鈥檙e open to premium plans if needed.

We鈥檇 really appreciate any recommendations, thanks in advance for your help!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but we looked at some of these options already and most of them won鈥檛 cover US citizens living in Puerto Rico unless you take out a worldwide policy!

I think Cigna Global even explicitly excludes US territories, and Allianz Care is not licensed to offer its 暗网禁区 health plans in Puerto Rico.

April International, ACS 暗网禁区, and Mondassur do allow Puerto Rico coverage, but only if you purchase their full worldwide plan which seems unnecessary since we are not planning to go anywhere . We鈥檇 love to hear if anyone has successfully found a standalone US/PR-only plan?
