I Sold some shares I had bought through an Austrian Bank. Now I want to visit Austria and several other countries. How much cash does the Austrian聽 banking regulations allow me to withdraw at one time ?
I now have cash in the Bank in Austria.

I'm asking because I hear cash is what merchants want instead of credit cards etc.

You could just go to one their affiliates and ask to increase the limit due to your holiday. If you have the cash there they normally do it. I had once my limit upto 鈧�1100 per day. It was for 10days which we agreed to do due to my holiday. Best!

One more thing , I'd like to purchase a few investor grade Austrian gold coins to take home . Can someone tell me of a shop selling gold coins in Vienna?
After a quick search on the internet all I found was online sellers ,and some that wanted my money ,and would meet me to give me the coins .( maybe in a dark alley , I didn't ask ).
