Moving to Graz.looking for kindergarten.

juikhare7

Hi,

We family of 3 are planning to move to Graz in June 2018.
We are looking for good preferably bilingual kindergarten for my 3 year old kid.
After we find good kindergarten we are thinking of renting apartment in nearby area.
Can anyone please suggest good Kindergarten in Graz?
As well as can anyone please suggest good areas for families to live in Graz?

Thanks in advance...

There are several good kindergartens in Graz, we went to and LOVED Schippingerstrasse. I would suggest making an appointment with the director. The staff are really good there and although it is not bilingual several of them speak multiple languages so integration wont be a problem. Registration is in March so I would recommend contacting them soon. The neighborhood there is Gösting. Andritz is also good, more expensive, eggenberg or wetzelzdorf are further from that particular kindergarden but nice as well. I wouldnt recommend Gries or anywhere to near the wienerstaße, Kärnterstraße, or Hauptbahnhof just because they are not as green or pedestrian friendly. Most districts in Graz are suitable for families.
