Recognition of Physiotherapy in Austria

Namrata Balusu

Hey Everyone,

I'm a Physiotherapist from India and completed my Masters in Amsterdam living in Vienna since 6 months. I also have a B2 level of the German Language which is what I was working on for the nostrification process. The information I've gotten from the authorities (FH Campus) previously was that I needed B2 German Language for the submission of documents but apparently the rules have changed and I'm waiting for almost 2 months just for a response to begin the nostrification process. Is there any other Authority I should contact or other private companies handling this process I should contact?. Moreover, I have gotten varied information regarding the job requirements and how it is according to the Law. I'm currently looking for a Job and the requirement is to be registered in the 'Gesundheitsberuferegister'. Hence, I'm unsure of what to do next.....

Has anyone had a similar experience? and maybe some tipps of how to navigate through this?
