Commune change after nationality application

rsobd

Hello, I want to know the rules regarding moving to another commune within the same province after signing the nationality declaration. Is there any specific rule regarding this situation? Or the file progress and decision will just be transferred to the new commune. Thanks for the answer.

@rsobd i had such experience when i had my Orange card. Since the application is not handled by cityhall but immigration department so If your address is already changed to new location then once you got your approval then you can go to your local commune and apply for your new card. Best of luck

Yes, do inform your new commune that your nationality application is in progress. they will inform the department about your address change and ministry will send the decision to your new commune.

Hi @rsobd,

Do you have any more news on this?

Was the address change an issue for you so far?

Thanks!

It was approved without any problem. Therefore,  commune change during this process does not change anything. Thanks. 1f60a.svg
