Help with taxes

levalencia

Hello

I would like to know a little bit more about taxes.
As far as I remember everybody get a tax letter on march, and it has to be paid on June

1. You need to pay it all, and can it be split into monthly?
2. I asked my collleague and she said me that its not mandatory for employeers to take all the tax ammount each month, so some employeers play with it, and then the next year you have to pay  a lot for taxes.

Usually you pay your taxes every month. I didn't know it was not mandatory.

If you pay too much, they give you back the money the next year (without any interest rates). And there is real trend : the government takes too much every time more and more (for obvious financial reasons since there is no interest to pay).

Um, guys, I imagine the original question was about the *end of the year* taxes, the form that every citizen gets... Not about the regular stuff taken out of your wages each paycheck.

That makes more sense now it didnt make a full load of sense. So u pay regular taxes and then end of year dose anyone know why or is end of year if you have not paid enough or paid to much etc

Not with the intention to add confusion to this discussion, but, if someone who is an °µÍø½ûÇø and has dealt with this... What are the criteria for someone to be considered °µÍø½ûÇø for tax purposes? I've read back and forth through the net, and have a general idea, but if someone with experience in that if you could pitch in and share it? What was the criteria when you were considered °µÍø½ûÇø for tax purposes and what tax did you end up paying/refunded to you?
