@Josefine23, did you (or anyone else for that matter) not receive any email? I was under the impression that the employer and the employee, both would receive an email once the single permit is granted

Not in my experience, I only received the initial no-reply email. Everything later is informed by my employer. And in Annexe 46 it is mentioned they won't inform the employee anymore but ask the employer to do so.

Ok I see. Would you also know if the employer receives an email/letter or do they need to login and check? I ask because the HR rep I've been talking to is on a leave currently and looking at the other people's timelines, my single permit should be arriving some time this week

They can certainly log in and check, not sure if they will receive an email automatically or not (I think most likely yes, but not a physical letter).

What you can do is, go to commune and ask for annex 49. Annex 49 will allow you to start work.

Annex 49 is valid for 45 days and can be renewed only once.

I keep emailing to my employer every 2 week since 3rd week of august and asked them to call the immigration department to ask for my single permit status. the long awaited single permit finally has been granted today.

@Jk27 thank you..they asked today at 11.48am. I received an email from my employer saying that the immigration department asked for the additional document. then within an hour I received the completed single permit and annex 46 document.

Can i ask, when you submitted the criminal record, was it for your mainland or only the EU country?

Also did they ask for a scanned copy of the pages with entry and exit stamps in the passport?

@mohanealabib I only submitted criminal record for the country I reside at the moment. they didnt ask criminal record from my home country.

for the passport, I only submitted the 2 front pages which included my signature.

With Annexe 49, we can only work on the specific function that is approved in the single permit. Can be full time,
