Medical Certificate

KeatsJ1964

Hello, my name is Rob and I will be applying for Family Reunification AFTER I am already in Belgium, not from here in America.

Most of the literature online discusses Visa requirements and very little about the procedure in-country; particularly when it comes to the Medical Certificate.

So:

1.  Is a MC required for someone ALREADY in Belgium from America intending to do Family Reunification.

2.  Should I have my Dr. complete one here anyway?

3.  Is there a standard template for this MC?

Thanks!

A medical certificate is a mandatory document. I am not sure if it is required once you are here already.

In any case, it is good (proactive approach) to get one from there while you are in America.

If it later turns out that you need one from Belgium, you can then go to a GP here.
