Best place to live in the city?

benblaz

Hi,

I'm moving to the city in the coming months and would like to know where you think is the nicest and most convenient place to live. I will be working from home and traveling in the country quite often, so I guess either easy access to the station or convenient to exit the city by car, I know traffic can get crazy here!

Thanks for the help!

Ben

Indeed :) Personnaly I don't like the North West (Jette, Laeken, Ganshoren, Berchem and Koekelberg) because it's too calm :)
It depends what you're looking for. Transport ? Yes but by car or by public transport...
Around Brussels you have the Ring R0. This road leads to any motorway. You should probably live near the access roads to the motorways and R0 (for example Evere Meiser, Evere Paduwa, Gare du Midi, Delta, etc.)

Most eastern communities in the Brussels Capital Region will be fine. Ixelles is the nicest. The east of Schaarbeek and Etterbeek are nice too.

Hi Ben,
I live in Etterbeek close to Cinquantenaire park, as it was pointed out previously in the forum, it is a nice place. I am going to pay attention to any rent announcement around my place, and I'll let you know.
