First year in Brussels

Eddy Merckx

Hi all,
I moved to Brussels last year and I decided to join this forum to make new friends. Brussels is cool, but people come and go very easily, so you often have to re-build your circle of friends. That's why I'm here.
Nice to meet you all

Hi so how have you liked your first year there. The way things are going job wise I am most likely to end it close to Brussels

Sarah Marie

Hi Charlie,

I moved here about three weeks ago.  Any suggestions for a new comer - I am only here for the summer for my job and want to make the most of it - any must see sites, restaurants, bars?

Mr.Edgar

A very good restaurant, but a little bit expensive :

L'entrée des Artistes, 42 Place du Grand Sablon

Bars :
DeValera's Pub
O'reillys Pub
Cafe Belga
Six Nations Pub...

Sarah Marie

Thank you for the list.  I'll try to check these out.

Price is rather subjective. When making statements like this, it would be helpful to all if you could include actual numbers. Adding "a plate is generally about €X" or "a check for two is usually around €X," etc, so people actually have a solid idea of what you mean.
