Hi everyone.
I haven't yet bought a house in Bulgaria but wondered if anyone knows of any banks that will offer me a bank account while still resident in the UK.

You can open a bank account in person at the bank whilst a U.K. Resident with DBank as I did just require passport and NI number. I am still waiting to get residency

First Investment Bank (FI) in Burgas will allow you to open an account.
You will need to take your passport.

Certain banks will open an account for you even if you're not presently in the country. Try Societe Generale, Reiffesen Bank, DSK Bank and Post Bank.

Reiffesen聽 bank told me that I needed an address in Bulgaria to open an account.

Dbank charges a significant sum of money for conduction of the application. DSK is highly recommended, no hassles.

We have just opened an account with FI bank on Tuesday this week and they put 10bl to start it up
