you can sell the car in normal way by putting on line. But buyer will have to pay 30% Vat and duty on value when they register in Bulgaria. The price a buyer pays in theory is reduces by 30% or more.

if you speak bulgarian..or know someone who does..they can do it.
My bulgarian isnt fluent enough.
Facebook has a sellers site..but you would need to tell them the circumstances of the car..where it is
That you can deliver etc.pictures maintenance details mot.taxed or bg
Tax..all has to be revealed..
There are bulgarians on the site under Pomorie..a town i live in
Try there..good luck.

As others have said, it is possible. However, I don't think it will be easy. And I believe that it will be at a substantial discount to what you think the car is worth. Most buyers (I know I am) are very skittish about buying a car still on its foreign plates. That's because you can't be sure you can get the change of ownership done in the UK (and you know it would be a right faff doing it, and especially going back to update the MOT)... and you can't be sure that you have enough documents to convince the Bulgarian authorities to give you Bulgarian plates for a car that isn't registered in your name.

I'd suggest that, realistically, you get it back to the UK, and sell it there... or do the local Bulgarian transfer/registration (or at least go talk to Kat to confirm what they will need from the new owner if you sell it on its UK plates) before selling it here... or sell it as is, for peanuts.

Welcome to the °µÍø½ûÇø.com forum and good luck with your move to Bulgaria!

As to your car... depends on how much it's worth, where you're living, and why you want to get it off your hands. I don't have much to go on. :-) If you're moving to Bulgaria, then perhaps bring it with you? It's not a huge drive (depending on where it is in Turkey, of course). And then re-register it here on BG plates?

Trilogy121!!

We (my parents) took outa Mercedes 814 lorry full of household goodies - full to the roof - many games of Tetris to fill it - and got it all the way across from Wales and then removed the box from the back to use as a tool store etc - some guys turned up a few years later and expressed an interest in the lorry - still on English plates and no MOt/test etc and they paid far more money than we’d paid for it in the UK.

I’ll never forget my mother who just wanted rid of it from the garden and my father who cannot resist a trade. I was there on holiday and the neighbours ( all BG come over to see what the excitement was all about in case we were being conned etc. It was a really nice experience because as usual the neighbours were there in case of an issue. The locals (in the sticks about 30mins from Burgas) who generally don’t have a car etc were there to ‘repay’ us for taking them to town/doctors etc. If you want to fit in then you will love it.

I don’t know how they registered the lorry btw. They put jump leads on it, it started and off they went (after paying in cash)
