Living in Cyprus and you still own a UK property ?

Gordon76

The UK press and youtube is talking about a change is coming for UK property taxation

The abolition of Stamp Duty plus Council tax changes to be replaced by a yearly charges on properties over 500k and council tax being taken out of bank accounts by direct taxation

Still in the mix but if it gets the nod could come in quick

Expect to see a glut of 500K ( circa 20% of the UK market ) coming up for sale now

= More supply to an already weakening market

Also paying capital gains tax on your own lived in property now apparently up for grabs

The UK property market now thought by quite a few ( experts ? )  ,  to soon freeze up as a result
