Hi all,

What would be the recommended bank to use when in Brno.
And can one open an account online as i would be getting a transfer money from employer.

I've recently started dealing with Sberbank and am generally happy with them:

Their website is multilingual and the log in security is very good. I use the branch on Masarykova street in the centre and a number of people working there speak decent English.

They are a good balance of a traditional walk-in bank and the more contemporary full on-line banks.聽 Their service charges are very reasonable compared to other traditional banks in the country.

The only complaint I can level against them so far is that they are rather difficult to get an overdraft facility from if you're a non-EU foreigner.
