One time I cooked some boeuf salad for my British boyfriend at that time. I mentioned that I need mayonnaise, and his dad offered me. But I said no, I need a whole tube and the entire family understood why.

I cooked a lot, as everyone wanted to try it. When it came mayonnaise time, I added as much as I could take out from the tube. But I needed more, so I asked him to properly squeeze it. One by one, every member of the family decided to not eat boeuf salad anymore. Only my boyfriend dared to say "You Romanians, really like mayonnaise"
