Filipina wanting to come for a visit.

Hi I am currently in receipt of English benefits being born in England and have a Filipina friend who wants to come for a holiday. She says she wants me to sponsor her but my question is can I? Is this possible on welfare?or is this necessary? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

That's not how it works.聽 She has to be able to prove that she has the means herself to pay for her accommodation and then leave at the end; this is normally done by her providing copies of her confirmed hotel and travel documents.聽 All the details are on the UK Gov website; this will take you straight there.
