Watching South Africa in the Football World Cup in Manchester

JodiB

Can anyone recommend any pubs in Manchester that will be showing the South Africa game on June 11th, hopefully surrounded by lots of other Saffers!?

Hi Jodi,

Manchester is hosting just one of fifteen Hyundai Fan Park sites around Europe during the World Cup.

The Hyundai Fan Park at Castlefield Arena will be screening all 64 matches across the 31 days of the event, so you can soak up the World Cup atmosphere in a fun and safe environment.

Three giant screens will relay all the action from South Africa, whilst the five-a-side beach football arena brings a touch of Cannes to Castlefield. There are plenty of licensed bars and food outlets in the Fan Park, so you wonÂ’t go hungry whilst chilling out with your friends and family in the sunshine.

Access to the Hyundai Fan Park at Castlefield is free of charge but tickets are required to access screenings of England matches. Tickets can be obtained from quaytickets.com, limited to 4 per household. A transaction fee of £1.50 per order will be charged.
