Estonia Residence permit and Visa D

Hello everyone,

I am Jamie from from Algeria, I would like to move to Estonia, because of the low cost of living.

please can anyone confirm me that If I buy a flat with an official address ,聽 I can qualify for long-term visa D or residence permit, is it true or not ?

I do not know, but I believe you can contact migrationadvice@politsei.ee with such questions. I am in the process of applying for a TRP and D Visa myself and they have been helpful. Good luck! :-)

You are very welcome! :-) I will be studying at the University of Tartu starting this Autumn. I like the culture, food, and the overall vibe of the town. The folks at the university were very kind and I have made a number of connections through the couch-surfing community. I really like how connected folks are with traditions, heritage, and folk music. It is particularly nice that music plays a prominent role in their culture and history.
