Tampere would be better for jobs.

Lappeenranta is more beautiful though!

Thanks for your help. I got admission in Tampere University of Technology and waiting for Lappeenranta University result. I cant decide which city is best for studying and job in my field (Software Development). Is there any chance that I can get field job in Lappeenranta or near Lappeenranta and if I cant  then what about odd jobs. Thanks in advance.

In general the job market is very tough at the moment everywhere in finland. I think Tampere is much much more nicer than lappeenranta. Tampere has a rather central location in the country if you think of the railway networks for example, the atmosphere is more vivid etc.

Muhammad, if you visited my links you will have noticed that there are hardly any jobs available in your field in Lappeenranta and many in Tampere.

It should be easy enough to choose between the two.

Thanks 'citizen1'. Your links helped me a lot. But now I'm asking for odd jobs like in restaurants...etc. Is there any site for such jobs or I have to go by myself and I can't speak finnish
