Hello everyone! My name is Elena, and I鈥檝e been living in Argentina for the past five years. My husband and I built our life here, had our child, and obtained permanent residency. Now, we鈥檙e planning to move to France on a 鈥渧isiteur鈥� visa.

Bonjour Elena. You cannot WORK in France on a Visiteur Visa. There is no such category as Digital Nomad, and you will state that you will not conduct any Professional Activity in France during your stay, when you sign for the Visiteur Visa. Please go to this website, and see the tool bar along the top. Choose the type of Visa you would like and the menu will drop for choices.

You would apply for a Self Employed/Liberal Visa, by the sound of it. You dont need an immigration Lawyer, as you would still have to supply that person with all the information that you yourself need to provide online. Providing the requested document will be key, and taking the time to read all the instructions, and to understand the kind of Visa that will be necessary for you both to work in France. Bonne Chance.
