Visiteur Visa

Elena Khalilova

Hello everyone! My name is Elena, and Ive been living in Argentina for the past five years. My husband and I built our life here, had our child, and obtained permanent residency. Now, were planning to move to France on a visiteur visa.

We both work in online education and marketing, with a focus on international projects in artificial intelligence. As we begin the visa process, Id love to hear from anyone who has experience applying for the visiteur visawhat to watch out for, any useful tips, or recommendations for immigration lawyers.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Bonjour Elena. You cannot WORK in France on a Visiteur Visa. There is no such category as Digital Nomad, and you will state that you will not conduct any Professional Activity in France during your stay, when you sign for the Visiteur Visa. Please go to this website, and see the tool bar along the top. Choose the type of Visa you would like and the menu will drop for choices.

You would apply for a Self Employed/Liberal Visa, by the sound of it. You dont need an immigration Lawyer, as you would still have to supply that person with all the information that you yourself need to provide online. Providing the requested document will be key, and taking the time to read all the instructions, and to understand the kind of Visa that will be necessary for you both to work in France. Bonne Chance.
