I went to New York and got a one-year long stay visa. Before it expired, I went to the prefecture for a Carte desejour; I received a Recepisse d
De Demande De Carte De Sejour for six more months. They asked me to send my Insurance info, so I did.聽 But I never heard from them again. Do you get an ID Card for the Card de Sejour?

If all the required documents have been submitted and everything is ok, you should be receiving a text when the card is available for pick up.
