It depends on where you live in Brittany . If you live in a small town it's good to acess to a car, so many beautiful places to visit,聽 sea-side and country side. I lived in lorient. Travel time is another thing, can be expensive to take the train to paris which is a minimum of 3.5 hrs... But I loved living there, people are friendly and always somewhere to visit. Good luck
