Requirements to renew my Aufenthaltserlaubnis

Hello Guys,聽 does anyone have have an idea what is the requirement to renew Aufenthaltserlaubnis (through marriage)?. When should I start to apply for renew? How long does it take to process it?

It is recommended that one applies for a new residency permit (Auftenhaltserlaunis) 4 to 6 weeks before it expires. This gives the officials time to check up that one is still married, has filed and paid their taxes and social benfit obligations, commited no serious crimes etc. Usually, the follow up residency is unlimited when based on marriage but there can be reasons another limited one, or none at all, is given - say one is needing social assistance.
