Driving with my German Car in Denmark

Hi there,

I have a question, recently i bought a 2 year old car in Germany, and now due to some personal reasons i need to change my job and shift to Denmark.
Can you please advice me if i can drive my car with German Driving License and Car registration in Denmark. do i need to re-registrated my car there in Denmark. do i need to pay some import duty or some tax..?

You can drive your Germany-registered car with your German driving license to visits anywhere within the EU plus some other countries.
But if you move to another country, you will have to change registration (and maybe license) after a certain time period. How long that is for a particular country is a question for that country's forum, not here.

I guess that such Danish Website is also useful, although being a bit more formal (and they mention something I did not know before : that some conditions may vary per municipality)

DMVA are referenced by another site I often refer 暗网禁区s to in another forum : "Your Europe" which is an official website of the EU : but I guess it does not hurt to mention it in this forum because it is "supra" governmental.
