Soon in Berlin... looking for friends!

Cocolatte

Hy guys!
I'm not yet in Berlin but am going to stay there for a little while (from the end of September to November) and I'd like to meet up with someone to have a laugh in good company or just a talk over a tea.
Unfortunately I don't speak german and this isn't going to help me to have a social life once there (I'm currently studying something by myself before starting a course there but, let's face the truth, it's pretty obvious that I won't be able to handle any talk deeper than a "guten tag, wie geht's") so if there's someone out there who feels like spending some time together just let me know!

See you soon : )

Hi there,

I am only going to be in Berlin for a week from tomorrow but would love to meet up with you, and indeed anyone else wishing to explore.

I have been to Berlin lots of times as my dad lives nearby but have always just been with him. For some reason I never thought until now to do some research on places I'd like to go! So now there are all sorts of restaurants, cafes, bars etc I'd like to go to but dont fancy dragging my dad along to everything!

My German is very limited but am hoping to move next year to do a language course.
