Leisure time in Munich

Hi - I will be in Munich 19th to 21st November with work and would like to know what there is to do in the evenings.
I will be staying at Courtyard Marriott Hotel,Munich City East, and will not have my own transport. I am trying to learn some German before I get there but safest to assume no knowledge of German. Love photography and art but not sure if there will be anything open in the evenings. Also like a nice drink and a nice meal so any suggetions gratefully received!

there are so many nice places in Munich many people like to eat in the restaurant L'Osteria () or to drink in the bar Die Bank ().
