thanks beppi...I'll check it out.

I would like to know, too. I've seen Chia seeds sold in Alnatura in Degerloch but just in small pack.

Thanks for the info! I thought I might find larger quantities at the Markthalle in downtown Stuttgart but no such luck, so ended up ordering them on the internet.

My packs of chia seeds brought are going to be used up. So, I went to Markthalle today and you are right. I  bought a pack at 10.85 euros per 400g from an Indian shop. Anyway, it's cheaper than those I bought in my hometown and the shop owner is very nice :D Of course, I will be interested in if anyone can find some cheaper. Thank you guys and have a wonderful day

So far, the best deals I've found are still online, and I can buy them in 1kg or larger amounts.  Also, I use a lot of ground Flax seed and ground Oatmeal as well which I can buy at the same location online giving me a "one stop shop" to get all 3 of my "hard to find" items when buying online.

I love going to the Markthalle which is really why I was hoping I would be able to pick this stuff up there but for 10.85 euros, I could buy twice the amount online, giving me more money to spend on the myriad of other items there!  I just love to cook!

Ms Immanuel

"twice the amount online"?! Oh, this is really good!!!!

there is famous chia seed co in australia.
i believe it is cheaper to buy from Australia or Asia and ship over, but in bulk, rather than 1 or small packs

i usually get my chia seeds from them to save money on high quality chia seeds
