Hotel (but not a boat) near Victoria Stadium

Hi All,
I'm coming over for the snooker in December and im getting confused by the usual hotel booking websites...can anyone give a run-down of hotels which are close by聽 to the Victoria stadium?! The event is being held at the Tenerancy Sports hall, which, if the maps are correct, is just behind聽 the Victoria stadium.

Gibraltar is really quite small. If you were to go to one of the hotels off Main Street, like the Bristol, then you'll be about 15 to 20 mins walking to Victoria Stadium. The Rock is quite nice and reasonably priced, but is a little further down again. The Sunborn is really nice and also very close, but you said no boats...

Thank you for that, i'll probably end up booking the Bristol.
Also, is it me...or do a lot of the hotels/guesthouses look a little grim?!

I've not stayed in a hotel in Gib personally. Architecture generally isn't Gib's fort茅. I went into a hotel opposite M&S once, can't remember the name, but it was nice inside.
