Politics has raised its especially ugly head as far as the rock is concerned, the Spanish seeing Brexit as a great opportunity for a land grab.
The next two years is going to be a worrying time for people there and that's likely to be a major factor in many things, including property prices.
The whole thing is down to how strong the British government is and how nasty the Spanish government gets, and history suggests they're going to be bloody minded on this issue.

Thanks Fred yes I for one knew  this would happen and predicted this would happen but if they try stick the knife in the backs of the UK then they will also suffer, and its dog eat dog.  I am living a lot in the Alicqnte area and am looking very close ath the situation and maybe move back to UK if I can sell or rent?

I really can't see Gibraltar being part of Spain, unless they have a referendum and vote to leave and become part of Spain.

Yes very interesting to see how things go, over here in Alicante the so caled x pats I have spoken that live in Spain voted to leave the EU they say to stop immigration, what a bunch of idiots.

I understand, whilst the local population voted very strongly to remain in the EU, they equally strongly wish to remain British.
These are 'interesting times' for the people of that small outpost.

The only requirement to live in Gib is money.
