Are you a member of Couchsurfing?  If not, I highly recommend it!  Some of our dear friends from Napoli moved to Dublin, so we know there are at least some other Italians there! 

Also, there is a cool and funky culture center there called Seomra Spraoi: .seomraspraoi.org:8080/Plone

We went there on our first trip to Dublin and met some great folks!  Check it out.
