Hi all,

Moving to Italy but quickly seeing that my idea of using overseas rental income from properties evaporating under all the Italian taxes for income.聽 For my situation it no longer seems like a wise return on investment and selling the assets and investing elsewhere may be a wiser choice.

My question to the forum is if anyone can suggest any ideas from experience on tax efficient ways to invest in Italy your hard earned cash so that the taxes on returns don't swallow it all up?

Any views are appreciated.

FYI - I will be an Italian resident and can hold Italian passport.

Every choice depend from the dimension of your income...if you have a big one, you can find a nice solution speaking with a good "commercialista". If you have a medium income there are not much solution...maybe you can move to Croatia馃槃
If you decide to sell your property and buy real estate asset in Italy, I think it's wise to choose big and Rich city or niche tourist area.
