Hello,

I'm an American moving to Naples next month. Any tips on good areas to rent an apartment? areas I should avoid? general advice? Thanks in advance!

Hello Lisa,

Vomero/Rione Alto and Chiaia are the best places to move as a foreigner.聽 They are quite relaxed, a bit less chaotic, close to some of the English schools (if you're coming here to teach), but a bit more upmarket so are more expensive (average 300 - 400 euros pp).聽 Best to avoid Garibaldi, Gianturco, the Quartiere Spagnoli and Scampia, at least until you are more settled.聽
