Nico Montaldi

Hello, I'm Nicolas. I come from Argentina, but am currently living in France.

I received a job offer in Lux, but in order to send me the contract, the company is asking me what type of visa sponsorship/immigration assistance I would need.

I have a French student residence permit valid until Feb 2024, and I already finished my studies in France (I hace a masters degree issued by a grand ecole).

I don't know if with my current residence permit I can sign a contract and then change my status from student to worker (this would how it works in France, but not sure for Lux). If someone knows or can assist me on the steps/requirements needed in order to obtain a work and residence permit in Lux, I would be really thankfull.

Thanks :)

Nicolas

Sserwadda Joshua

@Bhavna thanks and again are there.... for security guards?

Sserwadda Joshua

@SimCityAT thank you so much

Bhavna

@Sserwadda Joshua Hello,

I would suggest that you refer to the Jobs in Luxembourg section by posting your CV.

However, you are required to have high income skills to work in Luxembourg specially if you are not in the EU (banking, IT, Finance, Business)

Regards

Bhavna

Sserwadda Joshua

@bhavna I didn't get you here!!

Bhavna

@Sserwadda Joshua You will not be eligible for a visa if you don't have qualifications/diplomas and experience in high income jobs.

Locals can work as security guards. They don't require foreign labour for such positions

* M繹

@bhavna so what kind of jobs can someone with only high School Diploma do that are available

Bhavna

@* M繹 Hello and welcome !

Hello friends,

My name is Alok Naik. After living in US for past 14 years due to some visa issues I am back in India for past 1 year and I have been on a search for next best destination to start a life again . Luxembourg came up in my search as one of the most promising destination and I am trying to peruse this option.

By profession I am a Pharmacist and also have a master's degree in Drug Regulatory Affairs. I understand that it would be a tough process to become a pharmacist but I am experienced as a Retail Pharmacy manager for about 8 years back in US so I am trying to find out best possible option for me in Luxembourg as far as a job/business is concerned so I can start the process of moving there. Ideally looking for remote options but open to everything and anything . I am at a very preliminary stage of my research but I intend to move within next 6 months .

I appreciate any and every information from the area to live in and the sector to look into as a profession for starting from scratch which can make decent living .

Welcome Victoria,

You will not get a response from Julien as he is the owner and founder of 做厙輦⑹. So I will answer your questions.

In order to work in that field of work, you will need to speak German level B2 or possibly C1. Of course, English is an added bonus.

Do you speak German?
