how do you renew a british passport in malta

i know this sounds an odd question but i though i would ask it.

is there a briitsh high commission in malta for renewing british passports.

Better call.. I know that some of this High Commission offices send everything to Rome..so you got to wait at least 2 weeks...

Dont quote me on this, but when I went to the office they said that the renewal passport office for Brits was in Paris. Feel free to telephone the above number- I have phoned several times and the lady that deals with the telephone calls is really helpful.

i had heard this, this is why i asked the question.

i believe they send your paperwork to paris and sort it out there.
i suppose there just has to be way somehow.

They no longer issue passports.
If you go on the British Embassy/High Commission website it will give you the information you need and the forms to complete to get your passport from Paris. It costs around 170聙 too.
