I have a Philips 9000 series with smart and browser web-access, could not get I-Player to run even though I had the app in it, soon as I plugged it in here in UK it runs fine, they Geo-Block ip's... This Astra 2F is just as bad in Costa-del Sol as well, 2 meter dishes struggling at night and Astra say it will get worse as the "focus down" what-ever that means, glad we got all the server route issues sorted to Malta so at least our service out there is playing good, it's not HD and it's not SKY-Sports but it is 24 of the UK top channels from your broadband. There is 3 new dealers in Malta and Gozo now as well so lets hope they are all busy this week, how is weather boys...Jim

am seriously considering the amino a140 set top box as supplied by stuffed crust

We upgrade around Easter to a new HD box and there will be an upgrade deal, you should try our box now we have the new servers in place, 120 odd customers in Malta and never a complaint, even Janet our 22 hour a day viewer is happy, also there is a local contact to assist. Jim

cant be bothered with the laptop connections all the time - but might have to go back to doing that until theres a good HD stb option available..i do like the look of the amino 140 though

All sorted, we now have pop's in Munich, Czech, London and Paris with a bit of switching software so we can route and re-route at touch of a key. It's been hard work but worth it even if just to see boxes roll out in Gozo, I think the fact we kept going and dealing with customers was the key, when you communicate they are patient. we now have dealers who do tracerts from your location to our various Pop's then select the best route, simple really so if you want to have a go PM me I can give you the IP address to Trace to and if the route is good the service plays no question. If you still have boxes out there I can live them up for you, Jim

I cheers scoobs.. but my living room is already full to brimming with too many cables etc and the missus wouldnt like another screen there...LOL gotta keep em happy aint ya.

haha... not the Screen mate Just the Box... you can HDMI it into your exisiting TV
