yess tina ,
havnt tried it but will soon, i mean we spend so much money on those crapp dangerous mosquito repellent and with 3 kids under 3 at home really need somethin a bit more natural....lets post our feedback shall we. I will buy all i need tomorrow and try it out.

Can’t try it yet. It’s still far too cold for mosquitos? Down to 0° C in the coming night brrrrrrr. I'd wish to be in Malta. Will give you my feedback when the mosquitos arrived.

Always worth a try - can't hurt, right? But unfortunately unlikely to actually do much. Would be interesting to hear from someone here who's tried it.

dear pgl, it didnt take long to built...i will give you feedback on it...i know there r mixed reviews about it but its soo cheap that i had to give it a go....will let u know soon

no luck...trap isnt working...well it just catches other insects NOT mosquitos ;(
sorry took so long for feedback cause i did give it a good try...and when i saw then few mosquitos flying around the house i realized that the trap wasnt working

Well, thanks for letting us know at least. I reckon the only real solution is to get insect blinds... Good luck though.

I think you will find that roller blinds for doors will not be very efficient for keeping out mosquitoes as the gap at the side will allow then to get in. You need a sliding or hinged net door to keep the little blighters out.
Get a couple of quotes from yellow pages or try this firm (just had a flier this morning so never used them)Aluserv ltd .

Good tip about mosquito trap but to late for me. Have been bitten three times in the last week and the itch was driving me mad so searched online for any remedies and found this natural one.

Rub the infected area with the inside of banana skin (this is no joke) i tried and within 5 mins itching had stopped and swelling and redness was significantly reduced the next morning. They say its the potassium in the banana that does the trick but it works so in future i wont be running to the chemist i will be heading to the nearest fruit shop, you also have the added advantage of eating the banana

They say it works on a whole range of insect bites but i have only tried on mosquito bite.
