I still don't understand

38000 - ( 38000 * 32%?) - 10% Security INsurance ?

From difrent site I have difrent value

32% is the marginal not the average rate, 10% is capped

There is a calculator I linked to - inputting a few bits of data gives you the answers - as I said, SSC are capped, so you will pay less than 10%, actual depends on circumstances

tax is either 8070 if single computation or 6246 if joint. As wife not working (and no other income) then will be 6246

Social Security contributions are capped at €1,717.56 annually for persons who were born before 1962. For people born after 1962, the capping stands at €1,840.28.
